How to install TightVNC onto a Raspberry Pi for Remote Access/Desktop

    This is very simple.

    Login to Terminal on your raspberry Pi or press F4 and type in the following commands to install this package.

    sudo apt-get install tightvncserver

    Once pressed Y the install will begin

    Once installed to run vnc type in the following command, you will then be asked to set a password, enter this twice to verify. This service turns off every time you shut down your pi.

    Next
    Press N on your keyboard

    Once the Tight VNC Server has been installed, you should be able to connect to it on your remote machine.

    e.g my Raspberry Pi ip is 192.168.0.16 you will also need to add :1 on the end for it to work like above.
